ICYMI: 2021 Salute to Service Week

In honor of Salute to Service Week presented by USAA, the Texans hosted a private field day at NRG Stadium for veterans and their families who have received homes over the last 10 years through the team's work with Operation FINALLY HOME. The families were treated to a visit from the Texans rookie class and other surprises.

On Monday, Texans players, coaches, executives, Lady Texans and their families handed out 200 meals to veterans and staff outside the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center for Thanksgiving. In addition to meals, the team delivered a small gift to bring a little bit of comfort to veterans who are hospitalized during the holiday.

The Texans and USAA visited the United States Coast Guard Galveston Base where Texans players were able to experiences what a day looks like for those serving on base.

Texans players, TORO and Houston Texans Cheerleaders visited the U.S. Coast Guard in Galveston with USAA to learn about their every-day responsibilities, tour a helicopter and boat, and watch a search and rescue demonstration.
