Jadeveon Clowney returns to practice

Jadeveon Clowney was back at practice.

The outside linebacker, who left the Week 8 win over Tennessee with a back injury, took part on a limited basis Wednesday morning at the Houston Methodist Training Center.

"He was out there and he's day-to-day," head coach Bill O'Brien said. "But it was good to see him out there in pads."

So far in 2015, Clowney has a sack, 21 tackles and three batted passes. The first overall pick in 2014 has started six of the seven games he's played in this season.

The Texans will practice on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. They leave for Cincinnati on Sunday, and they'll play the Bengals (8-0) there on Monday Night Football.
