Pro Bowl cornerback Johnathan Joseph is questionable for the Texans' Week 7 game against the Baltimore Ravens. He will be a game-time decision.

Joseph, who did not practice on Wednesday and Thursday because of a sore groin, was a partial participant on Friday.

"Johnathan did practice today on a limited basis," Texans coach Gary Kubiak said. "It was very positive. I think we're heading in the right direction, but the decision will be made on Sunday morning."

Nickel corner Brice McCain would likely start if Joseph does not play against the Ravens, who rank 11th in the NFL in passing yards per game. Cornerback Alan Ball would get more reps as well.

Quintin Demps (thumb/forearm) is also listed as questionable. The Texans' top backup safety, Demps returned to practice this week and was limited each day. He broke his right thumb in Week 3 at Denver, played with a cast in Week 4 against Tennessee and broke his left forearm in the game. He had surgery the next day.

The only Texans player who has been ruled out of Sunday's game is rookie defensive end David Hunter (toe), who suffered an injury in practice on Thursday that will require surgery.

Right guard Antoine Caldwell (concussion) is listed as probable after practicing fully on Friday. Caldwell will play if he passes the league's protocol concussion testing on Sunday morning.

"He's shown all signs have been that he's been fine at practice," Kubiak said. "As long as they're doing things the right way and going through all the correct channels and the trainers and doctors declare him ready to go, then we'll let him go. He's looked fine to me, but we'll see."

No other Texans players were limited in practice on Friday. Nose tackle Shaun Cody (back), inside linebacker Bradie James (calf), wide receiver Lestar Jean (knee) and running back Ben Tate (toe) are among 12 Texans players listed as probable.

Ravens defensive tackles Haloti Ngata (knee) and Ma'ake Kemoeatu (knee), cornerback Jimmy Smith (abs) and tackle Bryant McKinnie (thigh) are all questionable. Each player was limited in practice on Friday.
