Owen Daniels, Johnathan Joseph on injuries

The Texans saw injuries claim the 2013 seasons for names like Owen Daniels, Arian Foster, Johnathan Joseph and Danieal Manning. Monday at Andre Johnson's Celebrity Golf Classic, Daniels and Joseph gave positive updates on their health status.

"It's going great," Joseph said. "I can't say 'Well, I'm ahead. Or I'm behind.' But obviously, when it's time to get back to football I'll be ready to go. I can say that."

Joseph tore a toe ligament in a Week 15 loss to Denver. The injury required surgery, but he's feeling better. When asked whether or not he'll take part in OTA's in May and June, the

cornerback said he's willing, but unsure.

"That's not my call, but definitely, I'll be running around, cutting and doing everything," Joseph said. "I don't know if I'll be participating because obviously that's up to the coaches. But as far as being 100 percent and ready: absolutely."

As for Daniels, the tight end was lost for the season during a Week 5 loss at San Francisco when he fractured his right fibula. Five months later, he said he's fine.

"It's like it never happened," Daniels said. "I feel good in that respect. I'm looking forward to coming in fresh and healthy."

Daniels said he completed his rehab by mid-January, and is looking forward to getting back on the field.
