Surprising pick for the Jaguars

The Jaguars came way out of left field with their pick at No. 10 overall, taking Cal defensive tackle Tyson Alualu (6-3, 295) to beef up their defensive front. Few mock drafts even had Alualu going in the first round, let alone the top 10.

Texans TV's Drew Dougherty spoke with Alualu at the Senior Bowl. Check it out by clicking **here**.

Jacksonville was the first AFC South team to make a pick tonight. Next up are the Tennessee Titans at 16th overall.

After the Jaguars' pick, the 49ers made the first trade of the draft by moving up from No. 13 to 11 to select Rutgers offensive tackle Anthony Davis. San Francisco also has the 17th pick in the first round.

The draft is flying by. Just 75 minutes in, the Texans are only eight picks away.
