Texan goes All World

For most Texans, the following few weeks serve as some much needed time off. While workouts continue in and around Reliant Stadium and the Methodist Training Center, the intensity is several notches below that of the NFL's regular season.

However, there's one Texan who is going to be quite busy this weekend. Mike Brisiel will suit up Saturday for the Hamburg Sea Devils of NFL Europa. Brisiel was allocated by the Texans to Hamburg in the Spring and now he finds himself suiting up in World Bowl XV.

Brisiel started the season as the Sea Devils' starting right guard, but is now listed as the team's starting center for the matchup with Frankfurt tomorrow. Brisiel was signed by the Texans in May of 2006 and spent last year on the practice squad.

He'll be competing for a spot on an improved offensive line when he returns to the Texans in July for training camp.

World Bowl XV can be seen Live on NFL Network at 12:00 p.m. CST.
