Texans add four to practice squad

| HOUSTON

– The Houston Texans announce they have signed free agent RB Ron Dayne and signed four players to the practice squad. 

Dayne (5-10, 245) played in ten games last season for the Denver Broncos and finished the year with 270 rushing yards and one touchdown. 

Dayne was taken in the first round (11 th overall) by the New York Giants in 2000.  During his career, the

last season as an unrestricted free agent.

**Dayne is reunited with Texans head coach Gary Kubiak, who was

's offensive coordinator last season.  **The Texans' roster is set at 53 players.
