Texans Care Tuesday | 10-26-2021

The Houston Texans are celebrating Kids Week presented by Texas Children's Hospital all week leading up to Kids Day on Sunday, October 31st. Texans players, TORO, Houston Texans Cheerleaders and our partners were out in the community making a difference in the City of Houston! Check out all the places we went.

TORO and Kamu Grugier-Hill visited patients at Texas Children's Hospital in honor of PLAY 60 Week and Kids Day presented by Texas Children's Hospital. TORO hung out from suspended scaffolding, dancing, high-fiving and fist bumping the kids from the 16th floor. Kamu Grugier-Hill made virtual visits to patient's rooms via a robot to spread positivity and joy.

The countdown to Kids Day presented by Texas Children's Hospital is on! TORO and Kamu Grugier-Hill visited patients in the hospital via suspended scaffolding and a robot.

In honor of PLAY 60 Week, Texans players Nico Collins, Jordan Akins, Jeff Driskel, Carson Green, Connor Strachan and Garret Wallow joined members of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Houston for a friendly game of kickball. Texans Cheerleaders and Club members cheered on the teams, TORO served as the referee and Texans Legend Travis Johnson called the play-by-play. PLAY 60 is the NFL's campaign to encourage kids to get off the sidelines and be active for 60 minutes a day in order to help put them on a healthy trajectory for life.

The Houston Texans and Whataburger partnered up to raise $120,000 for the Houston Food Bank through the Hunger Action Campaign to provide much-needed funds to support food insecure people in the Houston community.

The Texans host the Los Angeles Rams on October 31 for Kids Day presented by Texas Children's Hospital. Kickoff is set for noon CT. Click here for tickets.
