Texans fan wins ultimate Draft experience

The only person who might have a more memorable Draft night experience than Kevin Caplan is the No. 1 pick himself.

As the winner of last season's Club Seat Holder Fantasy Football League, Caplan will receive the ultimate 2014 NFL Draft experience courtesy of The Membership Club, an NFL league-wide benefits program. Adorned in custom Texans jersey with "Draft Day" on the nameplate, Caplan gets the opportunity to walk the New York City Red Carpet and hand deliver the 2014 New Era Draft Caps into Radio City Music Hall.

The native Houstonian has had a lot of unforgettable Sundays in Reliant Stadium, but he's certain Thursday night will become his favorite Texans memory.

"I'm a born and raised Houstonian and was a huge Oilers fan, and when the Texans came I've been a huge Texans fan since the start.

"As far as the Draft goes, I'm pumped. I'm really excited and can't wait for it. I've never been to an NFL Draft before, and this is the way to do it."

The V.I.P. access continues once in venue when Caplan and the other season ticket members get the chance to hand NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell a customized No. 1 Nike jersey from backstage as picks are announced.

If it were up to Caplan, Commissioner Goodell would be receiving a very specific Texans jersey on Thursday evening, name already printed in bold letters.

"Jadeveon Clowney. Everything I've been reading on him seems to be pointing towards him. I would love to see us draft him, and I would love to see (Teddy) Bridgewater slip to the second round. It'd be great to get him at the top of the second."
