Texans Sign C.J. Fiedorowicz

HOUSTON –** The Houston Texans have signed third-round draft pick TE C.J. Fiedorowicz, it was announced today. Fiedorowicz is the eighth player to sign in the Texans' 2014 10-player draft class. Terms of the contract were not disclosed.

Fiedorowicz (6-5, 265) was taken with the 65th overall pick and first pick of the third round

. The former Iowa standout caught 30 passes for 299 yards and six touchdowns as a senior in 2013, earning first-team All-Big Ten recognition from the conference's coaches. As a junior in 2012, Fiedorowicz had 56 knockdown blocks and posted college career-highs with 45 receptions for 433 yards. He caught at least one pass in each of his last 31 collegiate games.
