Texans support World Lymphoma Awareness

The City of Houston declared Aug. 14 ‘Texans for DQ Day’ in honor of Texans player David Quessenberry and his battle with lymphoma.

Less than a month later, the second-year tackle reached his goal of supporting his teammates from the NRG Stadium sidelines during the Texans home opener. Quessenberry, who has been undergoing chemotherapy treatments in his hometown of San Diego, was in good spirits as he watched Houston defeat Washington 17-6.

Next Monday, Sept. 15, is World Lymphoma Awareness Day. The Texans are asking that you show your support for Quessenberry by wearing your DQ Strong shirt or purchasing one at the Go Texan Store or online here. Proceeds benefit Lymphoma Research Foundation.
