The Texans are headed back to New England.
Houston will face the Patriots at Gillette Stadium in the Divisional Round of the AFC Playoffs next Saturday night on CBS.
The Patriots went 14-2 in the regular season, won the AFC East and are the top-seeded team in the conference.
After a 27-14 win in the Wild Card round over the Raiders, the Texans waited on the outcome of Sunday's Miami-Pittsburgh matchup. If the higher-seeded Steelers won, they would face the Chiefs in Kansas City next Sunday. If the Dolphins won, they would've traveled to Foxboro and the Texans would've taken on the Chiefs.
The Steelers took care of the Dolphins, 30-12, so Houston is on to New England.
"I think the big key for us is to just take care of our own business in here during the week," Texans head coach Bill O'Brien said. "Let's work to put together a good game plan. Let's teach the game plan. Let's have good practices and then let's go to wherever we got to go and let's see what happens."
The two squads squared off in the same venue in Week 3, with the Patriots capitalizing on three Texans turnovers to triumph 27-0.
"When we went up their earlier, we shot ourselves in the foot," team founder/chairman/CEO Bob McNair said. "We had two fumbles in the first quarter and gave up the ball on the 20-yard line. Doesn't matter who you play, you can't win playing that."
The Texans picked off three passes on Saturday afternoon against the Raiders, and didn't turn the ball over themselves.
