The Patriots are talking about the Texans | Enemy Intel

Patriots Head Coach Bill Belichick on Texans QB Davis Mills: "Davis is a very talented player. Had a lot of production. Had some big wins last season for Stanford. Good arm. Pro-style quarterback. I think he's got a good base. Like any rookie quarterback, he's learning all the time, but I think you see a good talent level and a good ability to make the throws, and I think they're doing a good job of trying to bring him along."

Belichick on the Texans run game: They run the ball a lot and at a high frequency. They've got a good group of backs. [David] Johnson kind of has his role, and then the other three backs, well two backs plus Rex [Burkhead], then when they had Tyrod [Taylor] in there for part of the second game and the first game, he was another guy in there that could run the ball as well. When you look at all the backs together, there's a lot of production. Now is there any one guy at the top of the rushing list in the league? [Mark] Ingram is up there, but I mean, when you add them all together, then you're looking at a lot of running production in terms of yards, touchdowns and carries. So I'd say it's an interesting combination of [David] Culley in the running game and that emphasis with [Tim] Kelly in the passing game and the production that they've had there last year and continue to have there this year.

Patriots OLB Matt Judon on Texans RB Mark Ingram: He's just a good, smart football player. Just (has) a will to win. Mark is a really good back. Runs downhill, behind his pads, carries the ball well and carries himself even better.

Belichick on Texans WR Brandin Cooks: Getting targeted a lot. Probably targeted as much as any receiver in the league, and he's dangerous on everything. Obviously, has tremendous speed. Great deep ballplayer. Super competitive, tough kid. Runs the intermediate routes. A catch-and-run player. Quick screens. Underneath routes. He gets a step on a guy, and he can turn a five-yard gain into 20 in a hurry, so we've got to do a good job on him, but he's certainly a guy that's going to take the top off the defense, and if you've got too many guys on him, then that creates a lot of space for everybody else. He's certainly a go-to guy for them in the passing game. We've got to do a good job on him.

Judon on Texans OL Laremy Tunsil: "Laremy's one of the better tackles in the league. Good feet. Strong punch. You've got to play to his intensity or higher."

Patriots QB Mac Jones on the Texans defense: "They play really hard. Obviously, they have some young guys and some old guys, and they do a good job of running to the ball and playing physical and playing for each other. So, schematically, they do what they do, and we just got to be ready to go, and it's an away game in a dome, so I expect it to be loud, and it just goes back to execution and doing our job."

Patriots OL Ted Karras on Texans LB Kamu Grugier-Hill: "He's been a great player for six years now, and a big-time contributor everywhere he's went.

Patriots Special Teams Coordinator Cameron Achord on Texans WR/Return man Andre Roberts: "Andre's one of the best ones to do it. He's obviously one of the best dual guys still around. Any time he touches the ball, he's explosive. He can make a play, whether you've got four guys, five guys around him. He runs hard, he gets vertical up the field, and he can break tackles. Our coverage is going to have to do a really good job of being able to stop him at the point of attack. He'll look like he's going right and putting his foot in the ground, but he's immediately coming left."

The Texans will host the New England Patriots in Week 5. Sunday's kickoff is set for noon CT. Click here for tickets.
