Week 10 Fantasy Picks

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is a smart pick in Week 10 of the Home Team Challenge fantasy football game.

In Week 10 of the **Home Team Challenge**, the free fantasy football game with great prizes on HoustonTexans.com, the winning player receives an autographed Houston Texans Cheerleader 2010 Swimsuit Calendar.

Remember to pick your new team each week, and don't forget there's an earlier deadline this time around, because the Bears play at San Francisco on Thursday night. Use 300 points to construct a squad. For example: In Week 10, Green Bay's Aaron Rodgers is the most expensive player points-wise, and he'll set you back 85 points. But if you're strapped for points elsewhere, you could always snap up Michael Vick for just two points.

Here's my absolute…airtight…110%...guaranteedyouwillwinoryoucankeymyMercedesBenzlimo weekly fantasy advice, with a few players I like and a few players I don't.

PRICE IS RIGHT QB Tom Brady, NE, 80 (@ IND) You also could go with Peyton Manning here, as both guys cost the same, but the Colts are a beatable bunch and the Patriots are certainly capable of making that happen. Throw in the fact that Brady and Co. are fresh off a 332-yard passing performance in the win at home against Miami, and the Pats are on a roll. Plus, they've always played well against Indianapolis, and they'll be motivated this weekend.

VALUE PICK K Matt Stover, IND, 9 (vs. NE) The Colts kicker delivered last weekend, kicking a pair of field goals and a pair of extra points, scoring eight points for Home Team Challenge owners. What's not to love about a guy kicking indoors, and playing for a high-powered offense that will give him plenty of opportunities to kick extra points and field goals?

NOT WORTH IT QB Aaron Rodgers, GB, 85, (vs. DAL) This week's costliest player is a head-scratcher: He's coming off a three-interception performance at woeful Tampa Bay and he's facing a 6-2 Cowboys team that's peeled off four straight wins. Furthermore, Dallas has allowed an opponent to score more than 21 points only once this season. Rodgers is a money pit this weekend. Stay away.

SLEEPER SPECIAL WR Percy Harvin, MIN, 24, (vs. DET) The rookie playmaker for the Vikes is fresh after getting Week 9 off, and he's been productive in spurts this year. Look for another spurt this weekend at home against the Lions. He had his finest outing of 2009 against the Packers in Week 8, finishing with a touchdown and 83 receiving yards, and in all, he's scored five times this year, catching and returning the football. 24 points is a pittance for Percy.

TEXANS FANTASY STARTER OF THE WEEK NONE
