Week 6 fantasy recap

Who says researching fantasy football stats on company time doesn't pay off? It did for "Movin The Chains," who scored 139 points and claimed first place in the HoustonTexans.com Home Team Challenge for Week 6.

Aside from tight end Jason Witten (5 pts), everyone on "Movin The Chains" scored more than 11 points with big weeks from quarterback Tony Romo (28 pts), running back Correll Buckhalter (23 pts), the Tampa Bay Buccaneers DST (22 pts) and Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson (21 pts).

"Movin The Chains" is now the proud owner of an autographed picture signed by Texans linebacker DeMeco Ryans – and their own article on HoustonTexans.com.

This week, a FATHEAD wall graphic of Andre Johnson will be on the line for the weekly prize in the Houston Texans Fantasy Football League.

Making our way to the Texans Celebrity League, Lance Cavazos' "Dunder Mifflin" made his last place finish in Week 3 seem like a distant memory. Cavazos' team scored 125 points to claim first place for the first time this season. Big games from Romo, running back Clinton Portis (25 pts) and Andre Johnson helped propel "Dunder Mifflin" to the top.

Coach Cavazos, who attributes his early-season struggles to injuries that plagued his team, was very matter-of-fact after the win.

"I don't believe in coddling people," he said. "In the wild, there is no healthcare. In the wild, healthcare is, 'Ow, I hurt my leg. I can't run, a lion eats me and I'm dead!' Well, I'm not dead. I'm the lion. You're dead!"

Brooke Bentley of HoustonTexans.com led her "B Squared" team to a second-place finish with 114 points. FSN's Bart Enis and his "Mystery Men" finished with 112 points to take home third place in the Celebrity League for Week 6.

There has been some shake-up at the top with some old faces (Wexler's Warriors) back in and some new ones (B Squared) making their first appearance in the top three. Here are the standings for the top three spots in the Celebrity League:

  1. TORO (TORO'S Ballers) – 606 points
  2. Adam Wexler (Wexler's Warriors) – 580 points
  3. Brooke Bentley (B Squared) – 577 points
