Written Dear Drew: Trade scenarios, FA help, more

Drew Dougherty answered a few fan questions in the video above, and some more in the article below. But don't believe everything you see or read on the Internet.

Brian Varnadoe: Dear Drew, I'm sending you a bill for wasted man hours after your last stunt. I was attending a meeting last week with 6 other co-workers reviewing great website content. We came across your most recent Dear Drew video involving your Magic Man trick. You had a room of highly intelligent people that were fully engaged in your little trick. All of us were extremely disappointed with your tomfoolery and outcome. I recommend you go back to magic class and leave the illusions and probabilities to Penn & Teller and our great mathematicians.
DD: Thanks Brian. I passed your complaint along to Marc Vandermeer. Please wait by your phone for a call.

James Garcia: Dear Drew, What are the realistic possibilities that Derek Newton returns and helps stabilize our offensive line?
DD: Head coach Bill O'Brien was pretty optimistic this December about Newton when the tackle was named the team's nominee for the Ed Block Courage award. O'Brien said "he might have a chance to play again" after a grim prognosis in 2016. He's been a regular in the facilities doing rehab.

Fernando Arriazola-Perales: Dear Drew, Do you see the Texans making trades around the league or trading into the first round in this years draft?
DD: Either scenario wouldn't stun me, but I don't think the Texans will trade into the first round of this year's Draft. I could, however, see them swapping players/picks that don't involve first-rounders. GM Brian Gaine said the team would pursue every avenue to get better.

Dalyn Hernandez: Dear Drew, Who do you think the Texans will pick up from free agency to help protect Deshaun Watson?
DD: Without naming names, I think you'll see the Texans be aggressive in trying to bolster the offensive line.

Derwin Jordan: Dear Drew, I recently did a tour of Minute Made park for $12. They spoke of history of the organization, we got to walk on the field and saw media room etc. Do the Texans offer this at NRG Stadium?DD: NRG Park offers tours of the stadium, and it's just $6 for adults. A lot more info is here.

Marty Murray: Dear Drew, When can the Texans be like the Rockets (1994 & 1995), and the Astros (2017)? We need a Texans Trophy!
Kevin Mercer: Dear Drew, Do you think the 2018 season will be the Texans first Superbowl run?
DD: Marty and Kevin's questions are along the same lines, so I'll answer it here: with Deshaun Watson under center the Texans are a Super Bowl contender. If he's playing quarterback, I think anything's possible and Houston is every game.

Jonathon Lovil: DEAR DREW IS RAC GONNA RUN A 4-3 DEFENSE AT TIMES WITH WATT, CLOWNEY, READER AND WATKINS AND CUNNINGHAM COLE AND MACKINNEY AS LBERS?
DD: I DON'T KNOW IF IT WILL BE WITH THAT EXACT PERSONNEL, BUT YES, ROMEO CRENNEL WILL OCCASIONALLY HAVE THE TEXANS IN A 4-3 DEFENSE. HE SWITCHES THINGS UP PERIODICALLY.
