Ruth Smith Elementary learned about the importance of tackling hunger in Houston with TE Pharaoh Brown and DL DeMarcus Walker. Plus, Kroger surprised one lucky teacher with groceries for a year!

In the celebration of the Divisional Round appearance, the Texans hosted over 150 youth football athletes from Spring Branch Memorial Sports Association. Clinic participants took part in Playoff-style combine drills, and also received appearances from Texans Legends, TORO, and the Houston Texans Cheerleaders.

2024 Playoff Flag-In-Schools Clinic @ Lockhart Elementary

To celebrate winning the AFC South Division and hosting a playoff game against the Cleveland Browns, the Houston Texans held a Flag-In-Schools Clinic Playoff Edition at Lockhart Elementary School. Houston Texans Legend Earl Mitchell and Houston Texans Cheerleaders helped teach kids the fundamentals of football and to get them excited for the upcoming playoff game.

The Houston Texans, ConocoPhillips, Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages and Ashley awarded $400,000 through the Inspire Change Grant Fund to 15 local nonprofits and educational programs working to make a difference in the Houston community. Grant recipients were celebrated at a reception at NRG Stadium with Texans Chair and CEO Cal McNair, Vice President of the Texans Foundation Hannah McNair, Texans players, Legends, Cheerleaders and TORO.
