The Houston Texans and Texas Children's Hospital hosted their annual PLAY 60 at the Park at Levy Park, which was a free, open to the public event for families to enjoy playing outside, meet Texans players and hang out with TORO.

In honor of the My Cause My Cleats initiative, Tyrod Taylor spoke to a group of students at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Houston. Tyrod Taylor selected the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Houston as his Community Huddle group this season to receive tickets to Texans games through the Tyrod Taylor Foundation. The Tyrod Taylor Foundation supports youth development programs and he will be wearing cleats on Battle Red Day presented by Mattress Firm to showcase the cause. Each member of the Boys & Girls Clubs will be given the opportunity to decorate their own pair of "cleats" (Converse) to highlight a cause and what is important to them courtesy of Mattress Firm.

On Sunday, the Houston Texans will be joining players around the league to raise awareness about a cause close to their hearts by wearing it on their feet. This year, 35 Texans players, along with TORO, Houston Texans Cheerleaders and Deep Steel Thunder, will all be participating in My Cause My Cleats.

On Giving Tuesday, the Houston Texans, ConocoPhillips, Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages and Miller Lite awarded $400,000 through the Inspire Change Grant Fund to 15 local nonprofits and educational programs working to make a difference in the Houston community. The recipients were surprised at a breakfast this morning at NRG Stadium with Vice President of the Houston Texans Foundation Hannah McNair, Texans players and Texans Legends. Learn more.

On Wednesday night, Tyrod Taylor and his foundation (along with teammate Brandin Cooks) visited Star of Hope. They distributed Thanksgiving treats and spent time getting to know the residents.

Houston Texans Laremy Tunsil and Tyrod Taylor handed out groceries for Thanksgiving meals from Kroger to families from the Boys and Girls Club and YMCA Houston.

For the past 10 years, the Houston Texans have partnered with Operation Finally Home to surprise a wounded, ill or injured military hero and their family with a home, building homes and hope for these heroes. To celebrate the lives that have been changed through this partnership, the Texans and USAA are inviting 11 families who have received houses to NRG Stadium for a special private family field day on the field of NRG Stadium leading up to Thanksgiving. Families watched a video commemorating 10 years of surprises, received $500 gift cards for groceries for Thanksgiving, Texans goodie bags and enjoy football drills, lunch, games and more.
📸 | Thanksgiving Meal Delivery to the Veterans Medical Center
On Monday, November 22, players, coaches, staff and Lady Texans handed out 200 meals to veterans at the VA Medical Center for Thanksgiving as a part of Salute to Service Week presented by USAA. In addition to meals, we passed out a small gift from the Texans to bring a little comfort to veterans will be in the hospital over the holiday.

Hundreds of runners came out to NRG Stadium for Running of the Bulls presented by H-E-B and the TORO's 1k presented by Texas Children's Hospital. All proceeds benefit USO Houston and the Houston Texans Foundation.

Houston Texans OL Jimmy Morrissey visited the Northwest Tigers of the F.U.N. Football League to provide motivation ahead of the team's upcoming playoff game and participate in some football drills with the team.
Through the Showcase League Program, the Texans partner with Houston-area youth football leagues to offer support and grow the game of football. The Texans provide USA Football coaching certification fees, grant opportunities and special experiences throughout the season for the F.U.N. Football League.
