The Houston Texans hosted a tailgate honoring active military members and first responders leading up to the Salute to Service game presented by Community Coffee. Texans Chairman and CEO Cal McNair and Vice President of the Houston Texans Foundation, Hannah McNair welcomed our heroes to a barbeque lunch, served by the Lady Texans, and had a special guest appearance from TORO and Houston Texans Cheerleaders. Military members and first responders also had the opportunity to watch practice and meet the players and coaches.

During Training Camp, the Houston Texans and United Airlines hosted the first inaugural Road Trip Raffle, with proceeds benefiting the Houston Texans Foundation and the Boys and Girls Club. This fall, the Houston Texans and United Airlines teamed up to donate sports equipment to the Boys & Girls Club alongside Nico Collins, ND Kalu, Houston Texans Cheer, and TORO!

At the first-ever Trick-or-Treat the Suites Halloween party, TKC Members had a spooky time! Kids enjoyed a special performance from TORO, InflataBULL, and Houston Texans Cheerleaders, a cooking class with Kroger, and more candy than you can imagine! Want your kids to go to events like this? Teagan Quitoriano and Kurt Hinish took a visit IAH to help with gate and boarding announcements for United Airlines flights!

Texans players, coaches, executives and staff will built 2,500 STEM kits, specifically designed to explore the fascinating intersection of math and football, for HISD elementary school students. The kits will engage elementary students across the district, providing hands-on experiences that connect classroom learning with the excitement of football.

The Houston Texans Stats Challenge, presented by SLB, gives local students the opportunity to participate in a fun, mathematical-based program aimed toward helping students learn and sharpen their problem-solving skills through the game of football. Hosted by Drew Dougherty, LB Blake Cashman and Legend Tim Wade made a special appearance alongside Cheer and TORO to help get the kids excited for this educational program.

In celebration of the beginning of the school year, the Texans Players partnered with CoolxDad and Blackshear Elementary School to provide a special picture day for all students at the school, a Title I school located in Houston's Third Ward community. Many students across the country cannot afford to purchase school pictures taken at school. This partnership enabled every student at Blackshear Elementary the opportunity to have their picture taken by a professional photographer and have printed photos to take home to display in their house and share with friends and family, a luxury many of us take for granted. Texans players provided each student with a new school uniform to start the year, along with an ID holder.

Texans Legend Cecil Shorts III, Texans Cheerleaders, and TORO visited the Houston Texans YMCA to help kick-off the first day of Houston Texans Flag Football at the YMCA! The Texans provided pizza, autographs and giveaways to all flag football participants.

To kickoff Legends Homecoming, Texans Legends Jonathan Wells, Robaire Smith, Tim Jamison, and Eric Brown joined Cheer and TORO to serve a pancake breakfast at Caraway Elementary School to celebrate National Pancake Day! The Houston Texans also surprised the principal with a customized jersey and to be a special guest in the Ford Ride with TORO Experience for the home game against the New Orleans Saints on October 15th!

Each day, the Houston Texans hosted kids and families from our community partners for a special experience at Houston Texans Training Camp presented by Xfinity. Groups included youth from the YMCA of Greater Houston, Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Houston, Special Olympics of Texas, and more. Each group had the opportunity to watch practice, meet Texans players and get autographs and photos, receive special Texans giveaways, visit the Texans Kids Zone, and more!

The Houston Texans, USAA, and Operation Finally Home will be breaking ground on a new home for U.S. Army Sgt. Joanna Ellenbeck and her daughter Ellie. TORO, Houston Texans Cheerleaders and a Texans Legend will help welcome the family to their new home.

The Houston Texans partnered with Kroger and America's VetDogs to adopt their second Texans pup, a black Labrador Golden Retriever to train as a future service dog for a veteran or first responder.
