Greg Kondritz

Executive Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer and General Counsel

Biography

Greg Kondritz was elevated to Executive Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer and General Counsel in January 2026. He was hired in 2004 as Corporate Counsel of the Texans and The McNair Group (the family office of the McNair family) and has served in a variety of roles since joining the organization.

In his current role, Kondritz oversees the Texans' legal, government affairs and human resources departments. In his General Counsel role, Kondritz advises the organization on commercial matters, NFL rules and regulations, intellectual property, employment matters, disputes, and special projects.  During his time at The McNair Group, he advised the company on multiple property acquisitions and private equity investments.

Kondritz has been instrumental in the Texans collaboration with Harris County and Howard Hughes® on their plans for Toro District, a transformative new sports and entertainment destination in Bridgeland®, located in Northwest Harris County, and the organization's acquisition of the LOVB Houston volleyball team.

Originally from Illinois, Kondritz earned his bachelor's degree in finance from Murray State University in 1996 and a law degree from Vanderbilt University School of Law in 1999, where he served as a notes editor on the Vanderbilt Law Review. Prior to joining the Texans, Kondritz was a Senior Associate in the Corporate, Banking and Business section of Fulbright & Jaworski, L.L.P.  He and his wife live in Houston with their three children.
