The Texans and the YMCA of Greater Houston partner in efforts to empower the next generation to live a healthy lifestyle. In 2011, the YMCA of Greater Houston opened the Houston Texans YMCA in the Greater Third Ward area with a gift from the Texans and McNair family. The facility provides programs in youth sports, child development, health and wellness, and more.

Houston Texans Flag Football at the YMCA

The Houston Texans and Papa John's Houston were on hand for the opening day of Houston Texans Flag Football at the YMCA. Papa John's Houston made a $5,000 donation to the YMCA to support flag football scholarships. And to celebrate, the Texans brought Legend Cecil Shorts III, TORO, Texans Cheer, snow cones and Papa John's pizza to kick-off the new season!
