2020 Texans preseason opener has extra meaning | Daily Brew

In 67 days, the Texans will open their 2020 preseason schedule against the Vikings in Minnesota.

We still don't know yet whether fans will be allowed inside, and if so, how many.

There's also a chance that game gets pushed back or cancelled altogether.

The two squads are also set to meet in Week 4 at NRG Stadium in the regular season.

In the wake of George Floyd's murder two weeks ago in Minneapolis, both contests will be significant for a variety of reasons. The Houston-native will certainly be remembered in some way at each game.

The first of those is just a little over nine weeks away from happening.
