Shane Lechler turned 40 yesterday.
His teammates celebrated the occasion by decorating his locker.
"His wife had a lot to do with that," long snapper Jon Weeks said. "She got a hold of my wife, they gave me the supplies and the specialists group unit and we decorated it. I think we did a pretty good job, I was pretty impressed."
Although Lechler officially crossed into a new decade Sunday, his teammates have been treating him the same now for awhile.
"We give him such a hard time about his age every day, it's not any different," Weeks said. "We're having some fun with him, we are."
Weeks said kickers Nick Novak and Ka'imi Fairbairn helped him with the decorations.
