GM Rick Smith on 2016 Draft: "The board is set"

Six days remain until the start of the 2016 NFL Draft.

General manager Rick Smith and the Texans are ready.

"The values have been set," Smith said on Friday. "The board is set. But that doesn't mean that there still hasn't been lots of conversation happening internally with respect to ranking and just making sure that we have all the information we need on these guys."

Smith held his annual pre-Draft press conference in the afternoon at NRG Stadium, and he said this Draft is full of depth from the first round through the seventh at "most positions".

"I feel good about this particular draft," Smith said.

He also singled out the quarterback, wide receiver and defensive end/outside linebacker position groups as being the strongest.

Smith and the Texans own the 22nd overall pick in the 1st round. The entirety of Houston's selection is below.

RD 1: 22nd overall
RD 2: 52nd overall
RD 3: 85th overall
RD 4: 119th overall
RD 5: 159th overall
RD 5: 166th overall (via trade with New England)
RD 6: 195th overall (via trade with New York Jets)
