Keke Coutee day-to-day, could return vs. Browns

Keke Coutee left Monday night's 34-17 victory against Tennessee with a hamstring injury, but could be back on a short week for Week 13.

"It's tough," head coach Bill O'Brien said Monday. "He's a great kid. He never had that problem at Texas Tech. So, I don't know. I think it's something that – it's tough. I don't know the extent of it right now. I think that it's a day-to-day and I think he'll be trending toward being able to play against Cleveland, but just overall dealing with that type of injury for a young player is not easy."

The rookie wide receiver caught two passes for 14 yards before exiting the game in the third quarter. DeAndre Carter entered the game for Coutee and caught one pass for 14 yards.

Coutee, inactive for Weeks 1-3 and Weeks 8-9 with a hamstring injury, recorded a team-high 77 receiving yards on five receptions at Washington. Through six games with two starts, Coutee has caught 28 passes for 287 yards and one touchdown.

The (8-3) Texans have now won eight consecutive games and will next host the (4-6-1) Cleveland Browns on Sunday. Kickoff is set for 12 noon CT on CBS and SportsRadio 610.

The Houston Texans are prepped and ready to take on the Tennessee Titans..
