Night practice for Texans on short week

The Texans held a late practice Monday evening in preparation for the Thursday night game at Jacksonville. Most of the players were present since there were no major injuries resulting from Sunday's 34-31 loss to New England.  The team participated in a walk-through inside the Houston Methodist Training Center.

"We're just kind of nicked up," head coach Gary Kubiak said after Monday's practice. "We came out pretty good I think. We had a couple of guys who did not participate on turf, J-Jo (Johnathan Joseph) and Greg Jones but other than that, everybody participated."

Houston will face the Jaguars for the second time in three weeks. Because of the short week, the Texans will also practice Tuesday, their day off during a normal game week.
