Outlook
There isn't a prospect in this year's NFL Draft that elicits more opinion than Texas A&M's Johnny Manziel. While you can debate his NFL future, what cannot be argued is that he will go down as one of the best players in college football history.

Manziel's two-year run at the helm of the Texas A&M offense produced staggering numbers, including several SEC records. In his first year as a starting quarterback, Manziel won the Heisman

Trophy, becoming the first ever freshman (he was a redshirt freshman) to ever win the award. In that season, Manziel accounted for 5,116 yards from scrimmage, an SEC record. He led the SEC in rushing, piling up 1410 yards on the ground. He won nearly every award possible, taking home the O'Brien and Manning awards while also being named a consensus All-American.

The numbers, especially as a passer, improved during his sophomore season. Manziel's completion percentage, passing efficieny and touchdown total all went up. His 4114 yards passing was top five mark in the NCAA and second all-time in SEC history. The talented signal caller ended his Aggie career with a bang, leading his team to a miraculous 52-48 win over Duke in the Chick-Fil-A bowl. Manziel threw for 382 yards and four touchdowns, as Texas A&M overcame a 38-17 deficit to capture the bowl win.

From a size perspective, Manziel doesn't fit the prototypical mold of an NFL quarterback. His height (listed at 6-1) and size will be examined heavily at the NFL combine and during the rest of the evaluation process. Manziel has often been compared to Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson in regards to size, and Wilson's recent Super Bowl win can only help Manziel and all other 'short' quarterbacks.

When it comes to prospect rankings, Manziel runs the gamut. He is ranked as high as seventh by CBS Sports, but checked in at number 21 according to Scouts, Inc. and Todd McShay. It is also worth mentioning that despite being just 11th on Mel Kiper's 'Big Board', the ESPN draft guru has the Houston Texans selecting him number one overall in his latest mock draft.
