Texans release unofficial depth chart for preseason opener

The Texans released the team's unofficial depth chart as they prepare for their preseason opener against Arizona on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. The team will hit the road to open the 2014 preseason slate, traveling to face off against the Cardinals in a game that can be seen locally on KTRK.

As he mentioned earlier in the week, Texans head coach Bill O'Brien is in the process of finalizing how repetitions will be divided on Saturday. The quarterback position is set, as O'Brien previously stated that free agent acquisition Ryan Fitzpatrick will open the game under center.

"He'll start the game," O'Brien said of Fitzpatrick after Monday's practice. "Depending on how the game is going, you know, like if it is a game where there is some three and outs, I think it is more important about how many plays he gets than anything else. We'll determine that a little bit on Wednesday and then obviously, see how the game is going."

The remainder of snaps at quarterback will be managed between Case Keenum and Tom Savage. According to the depth chart, Keenum is listed as the team's number two quarterback. The full depth chart can be seen below.
