Texans take over Wisconsin for workouts

The Texans are in Wisconsin.

Well, some of them.

Defensive end J.J. Watt and a couple dozen of his teammates are staying at his home in Pewaukee and working out together. They're also having some fun.

And his head coach appreciates it.

"I think it's great," Bill O'Brien said Tuesday morning. "J.J. Watt is going to, in his own way, try to do whatever he can to help us win."

O'Brien is in Boca Raton, Florida at the NFL Owners Meeting. He likes that Watt got the likes of Jadeveon Clowney, Kevin Johnson and more together, and believes it will strengthen the locker room dynamic.

"Even if it was just for a night, 20 of your guys get together and talk about things that concern the team and families and persronal lives and I think that's great," O'Brien said. "The chemistry on your football team is a big thing. I think J.J.'s trying to work towards that here in the offseason."

The Texans will gather as a team, formally, for the offseason conditioning program on April 18 at NRG Stadium and the Houston Methodist Training Center.
