This Friday, the Houston Texans will open their 2013 preseason schedule, as they begin their slate on the road to face off against the Minnesota Vikings. The preseason opener, as well as the Texans' upcoming matchups against Miami (Aug. 17) and Dallas (Aug. 29), will be broadcast live locally on ABC-13/KTRK and on 14 affiliate stations.
A return to football also means the return of the "Rising Star of the Game" interactive contest. Tune in to these broadcasts for a chance to win two tickets, parking and pregame sideline passes to the Texans regular season home game of your choice. The winner will also get an autographed item from a Texans player as well.
Listen for color commentator Spencer Tillman's Rising Star of the Game, presented by Royal Purple, in the fourth quarter, and then visit ABC13.com to enter the name he selects to be entered to win.
