A few of our stops included the Houston Food Bank with Yes Prep East End for Huddle Against Hunger, Clear Creek Intermediate for the Schlumberger Stats Challenge Kickoff Rally, and Academy for the Boys and Girls Club shopping spree.

Boys and girls, ages 6 to 11, who registered for Houston Texans Flag Football at the YMCA played their first of six games on Saturday, April 10. All kids registered learned about the fundamentals of flag football in a fun environment with their peers. Take a look at the action!

Last fall, Janice S. McNair, co-founder and senior chair of the Houston Texans, donated $50,000 to support the construction of a new playground at Mission of Yahweh. The Mission of Yahweh is a faith-based shelter that has been empowering, enriching and restoring the lives of homeless women and children and provides outreach services to low-income communities since 1961.

The Houston Texans surprised three local nonprofits with $30,000 in Digital Divide Grants through the United Way of Greater Houston. The "Digital Divide" is defined as the gulf between those who have ready access to computers and the internet, and those who do not. These grants will assist with providing access to the technology needed to close the gap.
