David Fletcher enters his 13th year as General Manager of Lone Star Sports & Entertainment after previously serving in a dual role as the organization's director for two years (2012-2013) while a member of the Texans' Partnerships team. In his role, Fletcher has helped solidify NRG Stadium as one of the world's premier destinations for sporting and entertainment events, producing and overseeing many of the nation's marquee events, from the Kinder's Texas Bowl and Texas Kickoff to concerts, festivals and international soccer matches. Highlights include a U.S.-record eight editions of the Concacaf Gold Cup, including the 2025 Final, as well as Copa America in 2016 and 2024, multiple International Champions Cup matches, U.S. and Mexican national team friendlies, the 2023 Soccer Champions Tour featuring Real Madrid vs. Manchester United, numerous European and Mexican club friendlies and LSSE's owned soccer property, the Copa de Lone Star.

Prior to leading LSSE and the Kinder's Texas Bowl, Fletcher served as the Texans' Director of Corporate Development and Broadcast Sales, negotiating and managing several of the team's major Corporate Partnerships while helping build and oversee one of the NFL's largest in-house media platforms. Fletcher began his career as an intern with the Houston Texans in 2002 and later held positions with Clear Channel Radio and the Houston Rockets before returning to the Texans in 2010.

A Houston native, Fletcher is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin. He was named to the Houston Business Journal's 40 Under 40 in 2017 and has also been recognized as one of Houston's Top 20 Most Influential Sports Leaders.

He has served on executive committees for the Football Bowl Association, the College Football Playoff National Championship Game Committee, the Touchdown Club of Houston, the Texas Exes Houston Chapter, the Gridiron Stadium Network and the Houston World Cup Bid Committee. Fletcher resides in Missouri City with his wife, Sara, and their children, Sydney and Will.
