Juan Rodriguez is entering his sixth season with the Texans, currently serving as Senior Vice President and Chief Venue Officer. Rodriguez joined the Texans in 2021 as the Senior Vice President of Operations and Event Management. He oversees event experience, guest experience, operations and logistics and planning for the organization.
Throughout his tenure with the team, Rodriguez has led the Texans' ascension to a top five team in the NFL's Voice of the Fan survey, which measures Season Ticket Member experiences and game attendees' satisfaction with their gameday experience throughout the regular season. He will also continue to be instrumental in the operational planning of the Toro District, a transformative new sports and entertainment destination in Bridgeland and the new home of the Texans outside of gameday.
Rodriguez is embarking on his 34th year in the sports and entertainment industry. Prior to joining the Texans, Rodriguez served as Executive Vice President and General Manager of BBVA Compass Stadium. He has also previously held leadership roles with NRG Park and the Sacramento Kings. Rodriguez spent nearly 15 years at NRG Park, helping oversee the construction and opening of NRG Stadium and leading major events such as Super Bowl XXXVIII, the 2011 NCAA Final Four, the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, and numerous major international soccer matches.
A native of Miami, Florida and a graduate of the University of Miami, Rodriguez holds more than 25 years of experience in sports and entertainment, specializing in stadium operations and event management. He and his wife, Cari, have two children, Connor and Ava.
