Biography

Scott Shepherd joined the Houston Texans in 2026 and serves as the organization's Chief Revenue Officer, overseeing Ticket Sales and Membership Services, Partnerships, Luxe, and Commercial Development. In this role, he leads the Texans' fully integrated revenue divisions and is responsible for advancing major commercial initiatives and special projects, including the Toro District, a transformative sports and entertainment destination in Bridgeland that will be anchored by the team's new world-class headquarters and training facility.

Shepherd brings more than two decades of leadership experience across the NFL and the broader sports and entertainment industry, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth, developing innovative premium hospitality platforms, and leading complex, large-scale venue and commercial development initiatives.

Prior to joining the Texans, Shepherd served as Senior Vice President and Project Leader at Legends Global, where he led the Buffalo Bills' New Highmark Stadium project from 2022–2025. Throughout his career, Shepherd has been with several organizations preparing for pivotal periods of transformational growth, including the Washington Commanders and the Minnesota Vikings as they planned for new stadiums, and the early business operations of Nationwide Arena with the Columbus Blue Jackets.

Earlier in his career, Shepherd held multiple senior leadership roles with the Commanders, including Chief Partnership Officer and Senior Vice President of Corporate Partnerships and Hospitality. He also served as Chief Commercial Officer at Guest Services, Inc. and held additional leadership positions across both organizations overseeing sales, marketing, events, government relations, and strategic alliances.

Shepherd began his career in professional sports with the Tampa Bay Lightning.

He earned a degree in Business Administration with a minor in English from the University of Lynchburg, where he was also a member of the university's NCAA soccer team. Shepherd and his wife, Emily, have three daughters: Leah, Claire and Julia.
