Spent three of his four years at the collegiate level playing at Wyoming before transferring to USC, where he spent the last two seasons and accumulated 77 tackles (48 solo), 10 sacks, 18.5 tackles for loss, two passes defensed, five forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries
In his time with Wyoming (2018-21), he played in a combined 23 games and registered 10 sacks
In 2019, appeared in 12 games and earned FWAA Freshman All-American first team honors
