We are excited to host FREE, in-person Play Safe Clinics presented by Houston Methodist! These clinics serve as exciting ways to educate kids and parents on the importance of player safety while practicing football fundamentals.

This year, the Texans, Houston Methodist, and GE hosted the Play Safe Sports Medicine Summit at the Houston Methodist Training Center. The summit was designed for certified athletic trainers working with Houston-area schools, including the Texans medical staff and physicians from Houston Methodist. The athletic trainers participated in lecture-style instruction, as well as interactive demonstrations. The Houston Methodist Outreach Athletic Training Program reaches more than 300 Houston-area schools and more than 125,000 student-athletes. The NFL Foundation and the Texans made a $25,000 donation to the program to support the placement of certified athletic trainers in underserved schools in the Houston area.
