The Reliant Stadium East Club was full of pompom shaking and high kicking as the 2013 Houston Texans Cheerleaders debuted at the Texans Draft Party on Thursday evening. The squad performed in front of a crowd of thousands of Texans fans, and each of the members were introduced by name.

The process to find the group of 35 began on Saturday, April 6, when Houston Texans Cheerleader Tryouts took place at the Methodist Training Center. More than 1,000 hopefuls showed up to prove to coach Alto Gary and a panel of celebrity judges that they have what it takes to represent the Texans on the field and in the community.

The field was cut to 51 finalists on April 7, and fans had the opportunity to vote for their favorites. Last Wednesday, the final squad was announced with the help of President George H.W. Bush, who presented roses to each cheerleader at the unveiling ceremony.
