Andre Hal picks off Blake Bortles before end of first half

The Texans finish off their first half at Jacksonville an interception at the goal line.

Second-year cornerback Andre Hal picked off Blake Bortles at the two-yard line, preventing the Jaguars from taking the lead or tying the game at halftime. The pass, intended for Jags tight end Julius Thomas, ended a nine-play, 50-yard drive for Jacksonville. Houston regained possession with 0:09 remaining in the first half. It was Hal's first career interception.

Houston leads 10-7 at halftime. Brian Hoyer is 11-of-20 for 134 yards and one interception. Arian Foster has 36 yards rushing and one touchdown catch while Cecil Shorts III leads the wide receivers with three catches for 60 yards.
