Brandon Brooks returns to practice

The Texans' offensive line, dealing with injuries for three-straight weeks, had all of its starters back for practice on Wednesday.

Brandon Brooks returned to practice on Wednesday for the first time since suffering a toe injury on September 29 against Seattle.  Second-year offensive lineman Ben Jones started at right guard in Sunday's loss at San Francisco.

"He practiced today and it was positive," head coach Gary Kubiak said.

Both Brooks and left tackle Duane Brown were limited in Wednesday's practice. Brown made his return in San Francisco after missing two-straight games with a toe sprain.

"I thought Duane played pretty good for missing two weeks," Kubiak said Wednesday. " I thought he played pretty darn well. Obviously, they've got a very good defensive football team.  I think he'll work his way back to totally 100-percent but for him to hold up the whole week and be right back on the field today, it's a good thing."
