Brian Cushing leaves game with knee injury

Brian Cushing took a helmet to his left knee with 7:28 remaining in the third quarter against Kansas City. Cushing limped off the field and was carted to the locker room from the sidelines. The Pro Bowl inside linebacker had 4 tackles and one pass defensed before leaving the game.

"It doesn't look good," head coach Gary Kubiak said. "He's got a knee (injury). I mean, just from the little bit that I know. I mean, obviously very concerned. We'll see where we're at, but I can't give you—I have nothing for you right now, but a big concern."

Cushing suffered a season-ending ACL injury on the same knee in Week 5 of the 2012 season.
