Coaches kids' favorite Texans

Tis the season to be jolly, joyous – and in head coach Bill O'Brien's son's case – choose your all-time favorite Texans player.

Michael's favorite out of the 53-man roster?

"Don't tell anybody this, but [Shane] Lechler's his favorite player," said O'Brien during Thursday's press conference. "He wears a No. 9 jersey to the games."

The 17-year NFL veteran punter has been named All-Pro nine times and is currently the NFL's all-time leader in career punting average. Good reason to be the favorite, huh?

"I don't know how Lechler conned him into doing that," O'Brien joked.

A couple other coach's kids favorites?

John Butler's son Manny's favorite Texan is Jonathan Joseph and Anthony Weaver's son AJ's favorite is J.J. Watt.
