Deshaun Watson opens 2nd half with TD drive

After trailing 19-0 at halftime, the Texans made a quarterback change in their Week 1 game against Jacksonville. Deshaun Watson, who entered the game to start the third quarter, capped off his opening drive with a touchdown pass.

Watson found DeAndre Hopkins for a 4-yard touchdown pass to end a 14-play, 75-yard scoring drive. Watson completed 5-of-8 for 37 yards, one touchdown, and a passer rating of 113.0 after entering the game for starter Tom Savage.

The Texans trailed 19-7 with 9:09 left in the third quarter.

Savage, who started the Texans regular season opener, was sacked six times by the Jaguars defense. Two strip sacks on Savage led to back-to-back scoring drives for Jacksonville.
