HOUSTON – The NFL announced today that Houston Texans LB Azeez Al-Shaair, DE Will Anderson Jr., WR Nico Collins and CB Derek Stingley Jr. were selected for the 2026 Pro Bowl. Anderson, Collins and Stingley were all named Pro Bowl starters.
Al-Shaair, a team captain in his second season with the Texans, has been named to his first Pro Bowl in his seven-year NFL career. The Tampa, Fla., native has started all 14 games he has appeared in this season, recording a team-leading 96 tackles (46 solo), a career-high eight passes defensed, two quarterback hits, one tackle for loss, one interception and one fumble recovery. Al-Shaair anchors a defense that leads the NFL in both yards allowed per game (272.3) and points allowed per game (16.6).
Anderson, now in his third season with the Texans after being selected No. 3 overall in the 2023 NFL Draft, earns his first selection as a Pro Bowl starter and makes his second Pro Bowl appearance after starting in all 15 games so far this season and setting single-season career highs in sacks (11.5) and tackles for loss (17). His 11.5 sacks rank fifth in the AFC, while his 17 tackles for loss rank fourth. According to Next Gen Stats, Anderson has generated the third-most quarterback pressures (79) in the NFL and owns the second-highest quarterback pressure rate (20.9%) among players with at least 200 pass-rush snaps. Anderson also recorded the second-longest streak in the NFL of consecutive games with at least 1.0 sack this season (six), spanning from Week 7 at Seattle through Week 12 vs. Buffalo.
Collins, now in his fifth season, is the first Texans wide receiver to earn back-to-back Pro Bowl selections since DeAndre Hopkins (2018–19). This season, Collins ranks seventh in the NFL and second in the AFC in receiving yards (1,060) and has totaled 68 receptions and six receiving TDs to go along with his first career rushing TD. He joined WR Andre Johnson and WR DeAndre Hopkins as the only players in franchise history to record three consecutive 1,000-yard receiving seasons. Collins continues to climb the Texans' all-time receiving lists, ranking fourth in career receiving yards (4,290) and fifth in career receptions (286). Collins is also tied for the NFL lead with four receptions of 50-plus yards this season and leads all players since 2023 with 11 receptions of 50-plus yards.
Stingley, now in his fourth season with the Texans after being selected No. 3 overall in the 2022 NFL Draft, earns his second consecutive Pro Bowl selection, joining CB Jonathan Joseph (2011–12) as the only cornerbacks in franchise history to receive back-to-back Pro Bowl honors. This season, Stingley has recorded 13 passes defensed and four interceptions, making him the only player in the NFL to register at least four interceptions in each of the last three seasons. In Week 16 against Las Vegas, Stingley recorded his first interception return for a touchdown and the first forced fumble of his career. Since 2023, Stingley has notched 44 passes defensed, the most by any player in the NFL over that span.
Three additional Texans players have been named alternates for the 2026 Pro Bowl: S Calen Bullock (first), CB Kamari Lassiter (first) and S Jalen Pitre (fifth).
