The making of the 2013-2014 Houston Texans Cheerleaders Swimsuit calendar, called 'Picture Perfect,' will air Sunday, July 21 from 10:35 p.m. to 11 p.m. on KTRK/ABC-13. In the television special, cameras go behind the scenes for an exclusive look at the HTC swimsuit shoot. Galveston beach provides the backdrop to seventh annual calendar, which was shot by photographer Paul Ladd.
"The sunset was absolutely spectacular. When you are shooting, you imagine one thing and Paul shows you the picture and it's fantastic," said Texans cheerleader Kelli. "I don't even know words to describe it. The calendar this year is definitely going to be fabulous."
Some new additions to the cheerleader squad will make their debut in the swimsuit calendar, including 19-year old Madison, a native Houstonian. Madison will be featured on the cover along with 20-year old Kayla, entering her third season with the Texans cheerleaders.
"Today has just been an awesome experience. A lot of rookies, which is awesome," said Shelby, now a second-year cheerleader. "Texans fans can see some new faces."
The 2013-2014 Houston Texans Cheerleaders Swimsuit Calendar goes on sale Saturday, July 27. Calendars, priced at $10 each, will be availble at the Coors Light display in Houston-area Kroger locations, the Go Texan Store at Reliant Stadium, and online at shop.HoustonTexans.com. All proceeds will benefit the Houston Texans Foundation. Fans can even meet the cheerleaders and have their calendars signed at participating locations.
