Jadeveon Clowney leaves practice early

Jadeveon Clowney began Wednesday's practice with the Denver Broncos on the field. He finished it while watching from the trainer's table under the medical tent.

Head coach Bill O'Brien was asked about Clowney's status immediately after practice ended.

"I don't know yet," O'Brien said. "Yeah, I'm not sure. I was in the middle of practice so we'll find out here."

Clowney participated in a majority of Wednesday's practice, going up against Broncos Pro Bowl left tackle, Ryan Clady.

"He was playing aggressively," O'Brien said. "I thought yesterday's practice the defense had some good moments and looked like today was more of the same."

Towards the latter portion of practice, Clowney was seen being examined by trainers under the tent. The Texans No. 1 pick was unattended after that, but removed his pads and did not return.
