Louis Nix III missing time

Nose tackle Louis Nix III has been missing time at OTAs with an undisclosed issue. Head coach Bill O'Brien did not elaborate on the nature of what ailed the Texans third-round draft pick but didn't seem overly concerned either.

"He's got something wrong with him but I'm not sure what it is," O'Brien said in Monday's post-practice press conference. "I think he'll be fine."

The Texans traded up in the third round of the draft to select the Notre Dame graduate with the 83rd overall pick.

Houston's OTA schedule includes two more practices this week, Tuesday and Thursday. OTAs end on Friday, June 13.
