Osweiler and Hopkins making plans

Brock Osweiler has a lot to smile about and it's not just his new contract with the Houston Texans. The newly signed quarterback now also has a dynamic target in Pro Bowl wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins.

"It's very exciting," Osweiler said Thursday in his press conference. "I've been fortunate to experience two great receivers in Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders, but what DeAndre brings to the game is truly special."

In 2015 Hopkins became the first and only player in NFL history to with four 100-yard receiving games under four different quarterbacks. He'll catch passes from Osweiler in 2016 and the duo has already started making plans.

"DeAndre and I have already talked on the phone," Osweiler said. "We're already trying to find a place to go work out together and get to work. To have the opportunity to play with a football player like that, that's what gets a quarterback out of bed in the morning."
