Players react to Wilfork's Body Issue cover

Brian Cushing gave Vince Wilfork a piece of advice when he found out the veteran nose tackle would be posing for ESPN The Magazine's "Body Issue."

"Don't wear anything," Cushing said, laughing.

That's what the annual "Body Issue" is known for, featuring athletes of all shapes and sizes in their natural state. Wilfork was not only photographed for the magazine, he also will one of a select few who will have their own cover.

"To bear down and get on the cover of a magazine, it's awesome," left tackle Duane Brown said. "He's representing for everybody 300 pounds and up so I'm proud of him."

Wilfork, who thought he was enjoying a quiet dinner with friends, was surprised with the news Wednesday night. His teammates also got a first peek at the cover shot, one of Wilfork in a sprinter's stance.

"I'm impressed," Cushing said. "Vince has said he started working out a lot earlier this offseason and it's obviously showing. Physique is on point."

The "Body Issue" will be available July 6 and on newsstands July 8.
