T.J. Yates out for season with torn ACL

After seeing action in four games with two starts, T.J. Yates' 2015 campaign has come to an end.

"T.J. Yates did tear his ACL, unfortunately," head coach Bill O'Brien said Monday. "He will miss the rest of the season."

Yates scrambled and injured his knee during Sunday's game against the Colts. He left the game with under two minutes remaining in the second quarter and did not return. The fifth-year quarterback was 6-of-10 for 68 yards and one interception in the Texans 16-10 win in Indianapolis.

Yates, who will be placed on injured reserve, completed 28-of-57 for 370 yards and threw for three touchdowns and one interception with an 80.3 passer rating this season.
