This offseason linebacker Brian Cushing traveled to Germany and Kuwait to visit the military for his first USO Tour. Detroit Lions wide receiver Golden Tate joined Cushing on the week-long trip in April. The duo visited military bases, shared meals, and interacted with the men and women overseas in their daily work.
"It's something I've wanted to do for quite some time now," Cushing said on Texans Radio. "I think it just fits in perfectly with my charity, my foundation. Once I finally got the email about it, I was just excited. It was something I obviously couldn't turn down."
